Sara Dunham

Owner & Mental Health Therapist

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, and I have practiced therapy for more than seven years. My path started in social work with survivors of domestic violence, new parents, and people in substance use recovery, which shaped how I understand trauma, safety, and resilience. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School and Level One training in Internal Family Systems, along with specialized training in ADHD and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy.

I now focus on individual therapy for adults who live with trauma, ADHD, complex relational histories, and queer identities, and I work to create a grounded, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.

From Grassroots Support To Clinical Practice

My journey began supporting domestic violence survivors and guiding new parents through early child development. After earning my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School in 2019, I worked alongside men recovering from substance abuse. These formative experiences taught me how trauma impacts lives and deepened my ability to sit compassionately with complex stories.

Cultivating A Safe Space For Healing

After honing my clinical skills in private group practice, I established my independent therapy practice. Today, I provide weekly individual therapy for adults online across Washington and Arizona, as well as in-person in Scottsdale. My work centers on trauma healing, adult ADHD guidance, Internal Family Systems, and queer-affirming care to help you build lasting, meaningful change.
